A memorandum of understanding (MoU) for research and laboratory cooperation was signed between Alvan Cooperative Paint and Resin Manufacturing Company and the Color Research Institute, aiming to expand scientific collaboration, strengthen research and development activities, and enhance the connection between industry and academic institutions.
This agreement has been concluded to leverage the scientific expertise and research capacities of the Color Research Institute, alongside the industrial, laboratory, and R&D capabilities of Alvan Paint Company in the field of paint, resin, and industrial coatings production. Key areas of cooperation include joint research projects, product quality improvement, localization of advanced technologies, and accelerating the commercialization of research achievements.
According to Alvan Public Relations, the MoU was signed on December 14 during the26th Research, Technology, and Tech Market Exhibition, at the booth of the National Laboratory Network of Iran. The agreement was signed by Dr. Mojtaba Alikhanzadeh, Board Member of Alvan Paint Company, and Dr. Saeid Bastani, Faculty Member and Head of the Color Research Institute.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, Dr. Mojtaba Alikhanzadeh stated that this memorandum would pave the way for effective synergy between the paint industry and scientific centers, particularly the Color Research Institute, and would contribute significantly to accelerating the commercialization of research-based technologies.
He added that Alvan Paint Company, with its advanced R&D laboratory and an ISO/IEC 17025 certified accredited laboratory, is recognized as one of the leading companies in Iran’s paint industry, with a strong track record in innovation, research and development, and commercialization of technological products.
It is worth noting that Alvan, with over 45 years of experience, has continuously invested in research and development, laboratory infrastructure, and the utilization of scientific elites, playing a key role in the sustainable development and technological advancement of Iran’s paint industry.
