As part of Alvan Paints’ ongoing commitment to advancing technical expertise and modern technologies in Iran’s construction and coating industry, the Mega Stone Adhesive Training Workshop was held on October 28, 2014, at Aban Hotel in Mashhad
The event gathered nearly one hundred professionals, including engineers, architects, stone suppliers, and skilled builders, and was jointly organized by the Khorasan Razavi Guild of Experimental Architects and Waterproofing Contractors and Alvan Paints Cooperative – Mashhad Branch
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the Iranian national anthem and a Muharram tribute. Afterwards, company executives highlighted the goal of the event: to enhance technical awareness of modern adhesive technologies and to improve cost efficiency in construction projects
Focus on Innovation and Alvan’s Role in Building Adhesive Technology
During the main session, Mr. Sarafraz, CEO of the Guild of Experimental Architects, praised the Mashhad branch of Alvan Paints and emphasized the importance of specialized training in dry façade installation and the use of innovative materials.

Alvan experts then presented the features and advantages of Mega Stone Adhesives through both theoretical and practical demonstrations
In the theoretical session, Engineer Toosi highlighted major projects such as the Ipak Square Stone Carpet in Tabriz and the Arman Project in Mashhad, showcasing the exceptional performance of Mega Stone in dry façade systems and multi-surface stone installations
Hands-on Demonstration of Mega Stone Technology
In the practical section, Engineer Firouzkouhi compared traditional façade systems with Mega Stone’s advanced adhesive technology, providing a live demonstration for participants
He explained mixing procedures, dual-component ratios, and application on metal, concrete, and polyester surfaces, along with best practices for standard façade installation
The workshop concluded with an open Q&A session, addressing all participant questions
