Research and Development of ALVAN Company ( R & D Dept.) 
ALVAN R&D department started its activities in 1996 and in 2005 achieved R&D license ( no. 60-102269 )  from ministry of industries and mines.
This department with more than 15 experts and skilled personnel , is able to create the necessary conditions in order to upgrade and achieve the product quality , designing new products , optimizing processes and recognition of new process in paint industry  as the primitive researches core.
ALVAN R&D department has completed tens projects in paint industry so far by which improvement of product quality  and also design of new products have been achieved. Among these projects, ALVAN has three registered inventions with which new industrial paints have been introduced and also mass productions have been planned.   
Paint is a chemical substance which in its producing phases, applying and even after application and getting dry , can cause undesirable effects. The strategy of ALVAN  R&D is to emphasize on designing the new formulations and optimizing the current formulations. This strategy obviously has many goals and advantages for creating safe and satisfaction  conditions for customers such as  customer health guarantee,  environment friendly aspects  and in next phase creating comfortable and even happiness for customers. Based on this strategy and realization of this important postulate , lead dryers has been eliminated from ALVAN alkyd paints and at present, the lead free dryers are used in ALVAN  alkyd paints. Also in producing water base paints, the anti bacterial raw materials are used which are not harmful for human health and are environment friendly. For the above development, three years of researches have been done by ALVAN R&D department and in this related, many samples have been sent to domestic laboratories and also European countries.
These continual improvements and designs, need primitive knowledge and also acknowledgement of  related technologies and customers requirements in paint industry which in turn create systematic relation between sciences and technology. By performing the R&D activities, experimentally science and knowledge have an output named product or process.
At present, ALVAN R&D department is working on several new projects in related to product designs and optimization and also creating optimized process which some of them create basic revolutions in paint industry. ALVAN R&D department has many units such as researches, technical archive, producing samples and engineering  which each of these units has related and independent duties and responsibilities.
