Growth of human knowledge and the concomitant demand for new industrial and consumer goods in satisfying the daily needs of communities, have led to a change in the attitude of producers, manufacturers and consumers, to pay more attention in this field and go for more accurate approaches to the issues of cost and quality.
Today, consumers both micro and macro are aware of the harms of cheap but low-quality goods in the families’ economy, businesses’ economy and even the national economy. To manage and maintain their purchasing power through limited budgets, people do not simply accept raise of prices in comparison with high quality goods they really do not need; today consumers rely on the concepts of performance and value in terms of price and quality.
Market demand & variety have proved that manufacturers are not able to satisfy a wide range of customer tastes by producing only a few general goods. This shift, has made the conscious producers to think smart and try to do not only the market research more carefully but also identify effective changes in variety of technological needs related to nobility by providing a close relationship between their R & D (Research & Development) and their market research team and create proper marketing plan; if not so, they will be forced to leave the market.
Perhaps that is why we have repeatedly witnessed the entry of new firms and the exit of the older ones out of the market in the recent years. We know if a company still remains successful in the market, they definitely have defined their goals and proved their advantages to their customers.
